A native Canadian, Dr. Murphy began his medical journey in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he completed his medical training and general surgery residency at Dalhousie University. He honed his skills in plastic surgery during a residency at The Lahey Clinic in Boston, a highly prestigious facility affiliated with Harvard University. Under the mentorship of Dr. Brooke Seckel, a world-renowned expert in breast and facial aesthetic surgery, Dr. Murphy developed a deep understanding and passion for breast, facial, and other aesthetic procedures.
After moving to Denver in 1994, Dr. Murphy established his thriving practice in Englewood and served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Swedish Medical Center. In this role, he enjoyed mentoring students, residents, and surgeons, dedicated to fostering a new generation of ethical and skilled plastic surgeons in the Denver area and beyond.
